Tabia njema siku zote ni kinga au akiba dhidi ya mambo mabaya yanayoweza kukutokea katika maisha yako baadaye. Katika kuthibitisha hilo, tuone ni jinsi gani msemo huo unavyoweza kuwa na ukweli kama ifuatavyo:

Kulikuwa na baba mmoja ambaye alifanya kazi katika kiwanda cha barafu. Kila siku asubuhi alipokuwa akiingia kazini alikuwa na tabia ya kumsalimu mlinzi wa pale getini. Vivyo hivyo jioni anapotoka alimuaga mlinzi na kuondoka kwenda nyumbani.

Siku moja jioni wafanyakazi wakiwa wanajiandaa kuondoka kurudi makwao, kiwandani kulitokea tatizo ambalo ilibidi yule baba arudi pale kiwandani ili kulishughulikia. Alipomaliza, ghafla umeme ulikatika, milango yote ikajifunga na haikuweza kufunguka. Kwa kuwa kulikuwa hakuna mawasiliano mle ndani, baba huyu alinasa ndani, akashindwa kutoka. Kwa bahati nzuri mfanyakazi huyo alikuwa na tabia nzuri iliyoambatana na mazoea ya kumsalimia mlinzi kila siku asubuhi anapoingia na kumuaga kila siku aondokapo jioni. Kutokana na hali hii, alipokwama ilikuwa rahisi kwa mlinzi kutambua kuwa yule mfanyakazi alikuwa bado hajatoka kwa sababu ilikuwa bado hajamuaga.

Hali hiyo ya kutokumuona yule
baba ilimshitua sana mlinzi. Alianza kuzunguka kiwandani kote kumtafuta na hatimaye alipogundua kuwa umeme ulikuwa umekatika alijua kuwa alikuwa amenasa mle ndani ya kiwanda. Kwa haraka alivunja mlango ili amuokoe yule baba.
Alimpata akiwa bado hai ingawa alikuwa dhaifu sana.

Alimpeleka hospitali ambako alilazwa kwa matibabu. Baada ya siku chache alipona na akarudi nyumbani na hatimaye kurejea kazini akiwa na afya njema.

Kisa hiki kinatufundisha kuwa kila siku katika maisha yetu yatupasa kutenda angalau jambo moja jema, kama kusalimiana na wenzetu kama alivyokuwa akifanya huyu baba. Kwake yeye, utu wake ulikuwa ni akiba ya ukombozi wake wakati alipokuwa amenaswa kwenye kiwanda cha barafu.
Funzo hili linalandana na methali zifuatazo: ‘Wema hauozi, na Akiba haiozi.’

Katika nchi moja ya ughaibuni alitokea Mfalme mmoja ambaye alioa wake wanne. Siku moja Mfalme aliugua kiasi kwamba alijiona anakufa, akaogopa upweke huko ahera.

Ilibidi awaulize wake zake swali moja lakini kila moja kwa wakati tofauti. Alianza na mke wa nne ambaye alikuwa anampenda sana, kupita wake zake wengine wote. Mke huyu alikuwa anamununulia vito vingi na vya thamani sana.

Mfalme alianza:
Mke wangu mpenzi, je nikifa leo uko tayari kufa nami na kufuatana nami ahera?

Mke wa nne alijibu:
“Samahani, haiwezekani hata kidogo, siwezi kufuatana nawe”, akaondoka zake.

Majibu ya mke wa tatu hayakuwa tofauti sana na yale ya mke wa nne, kwani alisema:
“Mimi ninayapenda sana maisha yangu, sitaweza kwenda nawe, ila itanipasa niolewe na mtu mwingine”.

Majibu ya mke wa pili yalikuwa hivi:
“Siwezi kwenda nawe ila nitakuandalia mazishi na nitayasimamia vizuri hadi mwisho, lakini sitafuatana nawe”.

Wakati anamjibu hivyo, ilisikika sauti ikisema:
“Nitaishi nawe milele katika raha na shida, hata kama ni maisha baada ya kufa”.

Mfalme aligundua kuwa aliyekuwa anaongea ni mke wake wa kwanza ambaye alikuwa hamjali wala kumtunza wakati akiwa na nguvu zake. Baada ya kutambua makosa yake, Mfalme alimwomba mke wake wa kwanza msamaha kwa kutomjali wala kumtunza kwa muda wote alioishi naye.

Mazungumzo haya yanatufundisha kuwa, kila binadamu ana wake wanne. Mke wa nne ni MWILI ambao huwa tunaugharamia na kuupamba kwa vito vya thamani na nguo za gharama kubwa lakini baada ya kufa hatufuatani na mwili huo.

Mke wa tatu ni MALI zetu ambazo tunajikusanyia kwa wingi lakini siku ya mwisho hatuwezi kufuatana nazo. Mali zote huwa zinaachwa na kugawiwa kwa ndugu wanaobaki. Hii ni sawasawa na mke wa tatu alivyosema kuwa ataolewa na mtu mwingine.

Mke wa pili anafananishwa na marafiki na familia zetu. Hawa watu huwa tunawathamini, tunawaamini na kuwapenda sana lakini nao pia hawawezi kwenda nasi zaidi ya kufika makaburini.

Mke wa kwanza ni ROHO zetu ambazo mara nyingi hatuzitilii maanani wala kuzijali. Roho ndizo pekee ambazo zitatufuata hata baada ya kufa.

Kwa hiyo tunaaswa kuijali miili yetu ili iwe na afya njema, kufurahia na kufaidi mali zetu tungali hai. Hali kadhalika, tuwathamini na kuwafurahia marafiki na familia zetu kwa upendo wanaotupa. Pamoja na hayo yote tukumbuke pia kutunza roho zetu kwa sababu roho ni chanzo cha maisha yetu na rafliki mwaminifu na wa ukweli.

Hata hivyo kuwa na marafiki wengi si hoja, hoja ni kuweza kuwachambua na kuwamudu. Hapa duniani tunapita na kila moja ataenda peke yake siku zake zikifika.

Aliendelea na tabia hiyo ya wizi kwa majirani na shuleni, alikanywa na waalimu wake, napo pia hakusikia. Alipomaliza darasa la saba alifaulu lakini akachagua kuendelea na tabia yake ya wizi. Aliamua kujiunga na makundi mabaya, makundi ya majambazi wenye uzoefu. Siku moja walienda kuiba benki, kwa bahati mbaya yule kijana alipigwa risasi na kufariki pale pale, wenzake wazoefu walitoroka. Wazazi wake walisikitika sana kumkosa mtoto wao. Lakini wana jamii walisikika wakisema ama kweli sikio la kufa halisikii. Mwenye nyumba hiyo alipogundua kuwa dhahabu yake ilikuwa imemezwa na panya aliamua kumtafuta mwindaji ili amtafute yule panya na kumwua ili aipate dhahabu yake. Kitendo hicho cha mwindaji kumtafuta panya kiliwashangaza sana wanakijiji kwa sababu panya walikuwa wengi pale kijijini kwao na walikuwa wanaishi kwenye mkusanyiko na hivyo kuwa pamoja daima. Walijiuliza, mwindaji atamtambuaje huyo panya? Lakini katika hali isiyo ya kawaida alitokea panya moja ambaye alianza tabia ya kujitenga tenga na panya wenzie. Hivyo mwindaji alipofika wala hakupata shida kabisa kwani moja kwa moja alimlenga yule panya ambaye alikuwa hachangamani na wenzie.
