Urembo kwa mabinti na akina mama unapendeza sana na hali kadhalika, utanashati kwa vijana wa kiume na akina baba. Maisha ya mwanadamu yanapendeza mtu akiwa nadhifu, mrembo au mtanashati.

Kitu kinacholeta ukakasi ni pale tunapoona baadhi ya vijana wa kike na wa kiume wakipenda kutumia vitu vya urembo kupita kiasi. Ni kawaida sana siku hizi kuona vijana wanakuwa na weupe wa kununua dukani wakati walizaliwa wakiwa weusi, tena wa kupendeza. Wanataka kuwa weupe, kuwaiga watawala wao. Ni aibu.

Tunaona jinsi binadamu wanavyojaribu kumsahihisha Mungu katika uumbaji wake. Wengine hata hudiriki kuchonga midomo, pua na hata kuongeza makalio na matiti yao ili yawe makubwa kwa kutaka yavutie zaidi watazamaji. Kwa hakika, inatisha.

Yawezekana kabisa, na pasina shaka, urembo huu wa kununua ukaleta madhara makubwa sana huko mbeleni. Matangazo kwenye mitandao na baadhi ya vyombo vya habari, siyo rafiki kwa binadamu. Watoto hawana budi kuhimizwa kukubali hali ile waliyoumbwa nayo, na si vinginevyo. Hakuna mwenye ubavu wa kumsahihisha Muumba wetu. Kuiga huko ni kwa muda tu, uasilia wa mtu bado utabaki kuwa vile vile.

Kuna vitabu vitakatifu ambavyo vinaandika kuwa binadamu hana uwezo wa kuongeza hata sentimita moja ya unywele wake. Hii ni kweli kabisa, uwezo huo binadamu hatunao kabisa. Hayo yanayofanyika ni ya muda tu. Isitoshe, hayo yanayofanywa, baadaye yameonekana kuwa na madhara makubwa kwa wahusika. Hebu na tuache tabia ya kumsahihisha Muumba wetu, yatupasa tutulie na turidhike na vile alivyotuumba Mwenyezi Mungu.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands empowers people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – alleviating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain free mental health services in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of trained grandmothers who implementing #WHO #mhGAP evidence-based psychosocial interventions. The project provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources, referrals, advocacy and awareness raising delivered through arts.
