Ni jambo la kawaida mtu kukisifia kitu ama kukizungumzia kitu ambacho kimempata. Hali kadhalika, ni jambo la kawaida kwa binadamu kumsifia mtu ambaye amemtendea kitu fulani kilichomfurahisha ama kumgusa.

Usemi huu hutumiwa kuonyesha kwamba yule aliyepatwa na jambo, liwe zuri au baya, ndiye anayelijua vizuri na hivyo ni halali yake kulisifia kwa watu ama kulilaani vile anavyoweza. Mtu huyu atakuwa na uwezo wa kulielezea vizuri kuliko mtu yeyote yule. Ni sawa pia tukisema, mtu aliyepigwa na mvua ndiye anayeweza kuelezea vizuri jinsi mvua hiyo ilivyompiga.

Wengine pia husema, ni mvaaji wa kiatu ajuaye wapi kinabana. Mtu mwingine hawezi kujua kwa sababu hajakivaa kiatu hicho. Cha msingi ni kwamba inabidi mtu awe ametendewa ama ameguswa na mtu au jambo fulani ndipo aweze kulielezea vizuri. Mtu mwingine yeyote hawezi kuelezea ama kusifia vizuri kama yule aliyelipitia.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands empowers people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – alleviating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain free mental health services in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of trained grandmothers who implementing #WHO #mhGAP evidence-based psychosocial interventions. The project provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources, referrals, advocacy and awareness raising delivered through arts.
