Mara nyingi binadamu hupenda kuwafanyia wenzao mambo ambayo si mazuri, na pengine ya kuchukiza na kuumiza sana. Wakati wanawafanyia wenzao hayo, huwa hawajali jinsi wenzao watakavyojisikia. Hali kadhalika huwa hawafikirii jinsi ambavyo wao wangejisikia endapo wao pia watakuja kufanyika hivyo.

Kwa kifupi, tunaweza kusema kuwa, binadamu wakati mwingine huwa ni wabinafsi, huwa hatujali hisia za wengine. Hupenda kuwachukulia wenzetu kirahisi rahisi tu, kitu ambacho si kizuri.

Usemi huu wa Mkuki kwa Nguruwe, kwa Binadamu uchungu hutumiwa kumsema mtu ambaye hupenda kuwaumiza wengine kwa kuwafanyia mambo yasiyofaa. Ukweli unaonyesha kuwa ukifikia wakati wa kuumizwa au kutendewa mabaya na wao, hulalamika na kujiona kana kwamba wanaonewa.

Binadamu ni mwepesi kusahau, huwa hakumbuki kuwa na yeye huwa wakati mwingine anawatendea wenzie mambo yasiyopendeza. Yatupasa tujitahidi kutenda haki bila upendeleo ili na sisi yakitukuta tuone ni sehemu ya maisha na hivyo tusiwe na uchungu uliokithiri.

Tusipende kuwafanyia wenzetu yale tusiyopenda kufanyiwa, tusije onja kali ya mkuki ambao tutauona uchungu wake.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands empowers people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – alleviating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain free mental health services in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of trained grandmothers who implementing #WHO #mhGAP evidence-based psychosocial interventions. The project provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources, referrals, advocacy and awareness raising delivered through arts.
