Mungu ametuumba na kutuweka duniani kwa kujua kuwa kila mtu ataishi kwa kadiri atakavyo tuwezesha Yeye. Ni kwa jinsi gani na kwa namna gani tutaishi, hiyo inabaki kuwa siri yake Muumba wetu.

Kwa mwanadamu hili jambo limekuwa gumu kuelewa kuwa kila unachopata yakupasa kumshukuru Mungu. Wengi wetu husahau hilo, mioyo yetu hubeba mitizamo mingine mingi. Wengine kutwa kazi yao ni kuchunguza maisha ya wengine na kujiuliza maswali kwenye mioyo yao. Swali kubwa ambalo huwa wanajiuliza, “ni kwa nini yeye, mbona mimi sifanikiwi?” Binadamu ana kawaida ya kusahau kuwa kila mtu ana fungu lake hapa duniani. Yatupasa tupunguze maswali ya “Kwa nini mimi….” Maswali kama haya mwisho wake yanakukosesha raha wewe muulizaji, tuwe waangalifu.

Inafikia hatua ambapo hata ndugu kwa ndugu wanachukuiana, rafiki kwa rafiki wanaoneana wivu. Wivu huu na chuki hii huwa haiishii hapo tu, inasambaa hata kwa majirani. Hali hii ya chuki na wivu inakuja pale wanapoona mafanikio yako. 

Kutokana na hali hii, yatupasa kujihadhali sana katika maisha yetu. Wakati mwingine unapofanya mambo yako inabidi uyafanye kimya kimya. Hutakiwi kutangaza kwa watu kila hatua ya maendeleo unayofikia. Mara nyingi watu wengine hufikiri kuwa kila kitu afanyacho ni lazima kila mtu ajue. Hii ni tabia ya kujisifu, tabia ambayo siyo nzuri hata kidogo, huwa ina mwisho mbaya.

Kumbuka kuwa siyo sifa kuongea hovyo hovyo kile ulicho nacho moyoni, bali ni kuongeza uwingi wa maadui. Msemo wa moyo wa mtu ni kichaka, unafafanua zaidi maelezo haya. Moyo una tabia ya kusikiliza bila wewe kujua, lakini kilichomo ndani yake, ndani ya moyo huo, ni sawa na bomu la nyukilia.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands project will economically empower people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – eliminating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain the implementation of accessible psychosocial interventions in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of the grandmothers who have been trained in and are implementing WHO’s mental health Gap Action Program. Healing Hands provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources delivered through arts, where clients learn to handcraft traditional beaded jewelry as a marketable skill.
