Kila binadamu ameumbwa tofauti na mwingine. Huu ni utaratibu uliowekwa na muumbaji wetu. Kila mtu amepewa karama na ni jukumu la kila mtu kuzitumia karama hizo ipasavyo. Kuna wengine wameumbwa na akili sana, na wengine akili za wastani na kuendelea. Lakini ukweli ni kwamba kuwa na akili sana siyo kwamba unajua kila kitu. Kuna mambo mengi tu ambayo unaweza kuwa huyajui, na hivyo yakupasa ama inakulazimu kuwa tayari kupokea ushauri kutoka kwa wengine ili kuboresha wazo au jambo ulilo nalo. Utayari wa kupokea ushauri utakupa fursa ya kujifunza zaidi na hivyo kuongeza kwenye benki yako ya maarifa.

Kuna tabia ya watu wengi kupenda kujitutumua kuwa wanajua kila kitu. Ukweli ni kwamba, haiwezekani mtu akajua kila kitu. Mtu mmoja anaweza kulijua jambo moja na mwingine akalijua lingine. Katika mchakato wa kumegeana yale tunayoyajua ndiko kutakakotupatia fursa ya kujifunza na hivyo kuongeza zaidi uelewa wetu.

Mtu asiyependa kukiri kwa wenzake kuwa jambo fulani halijui anajinyima fursa ya kujifunza na mwisho wake anakosa maarifa. Wahenga wamesema kuwa ‘Jambo Usilolijua, ni Kama Usiku wa Giza’. Tuepuke kukaa gizani. Hivyo basi, kama binadamu, yatupasa tuwe tayari kujifunza kutoka kwa wenzetu ili tuweze kuongeza elimu zaidi.

Kuna mifano hai ya watu waliojifanya wanajua kila kitu. Watu wenye tabia hii, mara nyingi hufikia mahali wakashindwa kabisa kujua cha kufanya. Ujuaji wao unawaponza. Hivyo ni busara kuwa tayari kujifunza pale tunapojikuta jambo fulani hatulijui ili tuongeze maarifa.

Cha msingi tukumbuke kuwa kila binadamu ana hazina fulani ya maarifa ambayo sisi wengine hatuna na hali kadhalika, nasi tuna hazina fulani ya maarifa ambayo wengine hawana. Hivyo basi kuwa tayari kujifunza kutoka kwa kila mmoja wetu ndiko kutatuletea maendeleo. Binadamu TUNATEGEMEANA sana katika kufanikisha mambo.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands project will economically empower people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – eliminating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain the implementation of accessible psychosocial interventions in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of the grandmothers who have been trained in and are implementing WHO’s mental health Gap Action Program. Healing Hands provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources delivered through arts, where clients learn to handcraft traditional beaded jewelry as a marketable skill.
