Kijana mmoja alikuwa na ndoto za kumuoa dada ambaye ni Daktari. Pendekezo lake jingine lilikuwa huyo daktari alitakiwa awe mweupe, wengine huwaita “cheupe dawa”. Katika pitapita zake alikutana na daktari ambaye alikuwa mweusi mweusi. Alisita kuutoa moyo wake kwa daktari huyu, hivyo akaona isiwe tabu, hakumpenda kwa udaktari wake tu. Bado kulikuwa na kigezo cha weupe ambacho kilikuwa kinakosekana.

Kutokana na kukosekana kwa kigezo hicho cha ‘weupe’, kijana hakutulizana kabisa. Daima alikuwa akipepesa huku na kule, ili mradi aje akutane binti cheupe ambaye ilikuwa ndio dawa halisi aliyokuwa akiitaka kukidhi kiu yake kubwa.

Katika jitihada zake za kutafuta cheupe, alifanikiwa. Alimpata binti ambaye ni daktari pia mweupe kama alivyokuwa akitaka. Wawili hawa walipendana sana na kwa vile kijana alikuwa amepata kile anachohitaji, alikuwa na furaha sana moyoni mwake. Kwa kifupi, alijiona amekamilika na kwamba amebarikiwa sana kukidhi ndoto zake kuhusu mwanamke amtakaye. Kwa hakika alikuwa amepata kile alichokuwa anakitaka.

Walichukua hatua za haraka za maandalizi ya kufunga ndoa. Hayawi, hayawi yakawa👏🏽. Hatimaye walifunga ndoa. Lakini kwa bahati mbaya waliishi kwa miaka miwili bila kufanikiwa kupata mtoto. Hali hiyo iliwakera na kuwakosesha sana raha.

Walihangaika sana kwa waganga wa kienyeji, lakini bado hawakufanikiwa azma yao ya kupata mtoto. Pamoja na kuwa na mke ni daktari, bado walishindwa kutumia elimu yao na kuona umuhimu wa kwenda hospitali kwa wataalamu wa afya. Baada ya kuhangaika kwa muda mrefu kwa waganga wa kienyeji waliamua kwenda hospitali kumwona daktari mtaalam anayeshughulika na masuala ya uzazi. Daktari aliongea nao kwa pamoja kisha akaanza kuwauliza maswali mmoja mmoja huku wakiwa pamoja. Daktari alianza kwa kumwuuliza mwanaume maswali naye akamjibu kama itakiwavyo.

Mwanamke naye alipata fursa ya kuulizwa. Alalipoulizwa maswali ya msingi alianza kuropoka hovyo na kumdhalilisha mume wake hapo mbele ya daktari. Bila kumung’uya maneno, alimwambia daktari kuwa mume wake ni mtu wa hovyo hovyo kabisa na kwamba hawezi chochote kwenye masuala ya mapenzi.

Mke wake alipoanika kwa daktari siri za mume wake ilikuwa ni aibu kubwa kwake. Hakutegemea kuwa ‘cheupe’ wake angeweza kumfanyia hivyo. Katika hali ya kawaida, kama vile ambavyo ingekuwa kwa mtu mwingine yeyote, kijana alijisikia vibaya sana kudhalilishwa mbele ya daktari.

Baada ya kurudi nyumbani, hima kijana aliondoka kwenda kumtafuta yule dada, daktari mweusi. Alimpigia magoti na kumwomba sana msamaha hadi akaeleweka. Alitumia kila msamiati kuweza kueleweka. Hatimaye, daktari mweusi alikubali ombi lake na mwishowe walikubaliana kuoana na kuanza maisha mapya.

Kama Waswahili wanavyosema “Mungu si Athumani” ni kweli kwani Mungu aliwajalia watoto mapacha. Sasa wanaishi vizuri kama familia na wanaendesha maisha yao kwa kuheshimiana na kwa furaha. Kwa upande mwingine, yule dada cheupe aliyeachwa, alibaki na nyodo zake, hadi leo hajaolewa na ameishia kudanga tu.!

Simulizi hii inatufundisha umuhimu wa kuwa na msimamo katika maisha, tusimamie maamuzi yetu ya mwanzo na tusiwe ma tabia ya kutangatanga. Waswahili hupenda kutumia methali hii kwa watu wasio na msimamo wala maamuzi kwa kusema: “Mkataa Pema, Pabaya Panamwita”.
