Kitumbua ni aina ya mkate mdogo wa mviringo uliotengenezwa kwa unga wa mchele na sukari na kuchomwa kwa mafuta ya kupikia. Kitumbua kina ladha nzuri sana na ni kitamu kikiiva mpaka ndani. Kitumbua utakichukia au hutakipenda kama unga wa mchele unaotumia ukiwa na mchanga hapo starehe ya kifungua kinywa itakuwa imeharibika. Kitumbua hakitafuniki tena kitakachobaki ni karaha tuu.

Hali hii inatokea mara nyingi sana katika maisha yetu ya kila siku. Yanatokea kwenye familia zetu, kwenye koo zetu, kwa majirani, makanisani, maofisini na hata kwenye mitandao ya kijamii. Kuna mambo kadha ambayo yanatendeka kwa mfano:

  1. Kumharibia mtu sifa zake au mambo yake mazuri kwa kutangaza mambo ambayo si ya kweli, ni mabaya wakati hayo mambo hayafanyi.
  2. Kutoa ushahidi wa uwongo ili tuu agandamizwe au aadhibiwe kwa kitendo ambacho hajakitenda na hii hupelekea mhusika kukosa uaminifu katika utendaji wake wa kazi au kwenye jukumu ambalo linamhusu kwenye eneo husika.

Somo la hapo juu linatupa mafundisho yafuatayo:

  1. Tuwe wa kweli daima na tuache fitina kwenye maeneo yote tunayoishi.
  2. Ukiona mwenzio anaenda kinyume na maadili yetu chukua hatua ya kumwonya kuliko kumsema pembeni.
  3. Tukumbuke kuwa upendo hauna itikadi yoyote tuache kufurahisha mioyo yetu, bali daima tukumbuke kuwa daima uwongo unajitenga.
  4. Fitina haijengi, daima matokeo yake ni mvurugano na kupelekea matokeo hasi.

The Healing Hands Project

The Healing Hands project will economically empower people to achieve financial autonomy by building entrepreneurial skills and embedding skills transfer within the community – eliminating poverty as a driver of ill mental health. Funds raised from the jewelry will help sustain the implementation of accessible psychosocial interventions in underserved communities and promote the economic empowerment of the grandmothers who have been trained in and are implementing WHO’s mental health Gap Action Program. Healing Hands provides interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy, and psychoeducation resources delivered through arts, where clients learn to handcraft traditional beaded jewelry as a marketable skill.
