Maisha ya mwanadamu yana mapito ya aina mbalimbali, tabu na raha. Changamoto ni moja ya mapito haya, ni sehemu ya maisha yetu wanadamu. Kupitia changamoto tunajifunza mbinu mbali mbali za kupambana na maisha. Changamoto ni msasa wa kusawazisha nyufa za maisha yetu. Tusitishike na changamoto, tusikate tamaa tunapopata majaribu. Tunatakiwa kuzikubali na kusonga mbele. Hata barabara zetu zina kona kona na ndivyo maisha yetu yalivyo. Kuna wengine hata hudiriki kusema: ‘bila changamoto maisha hayana msisimko, huchosha’. Changamoto zinatuchangamsha, changamoto zinatukomaza, na changamoto zinatufundisha.
The Healing Hands Project
We are excited to launch the #HealingHands project. The project supports interpersonal counseling, group talk therapy and psychoeducation resources to be delivered through arts, where clients learn to handcraft traditional beaded jewelry as a marketable skill. It also promotes the economic growth of grandmothers who are trained in and are implementing WHO’s mental health Gap Action Program #mhGAP. Income generated from sales of the jewelry will also support the sustainable implementation of accessible psychosocial interventions among underserved communities.
